At ACE Creatives, a social-first ad agency, I manage clients including Interstate Batteries, Hanes, Bali, Maidenform, AAA Auto Club Group, and New Amsterdam Vodka.
As Associate Social Media Manager, I oversee everything from pre-production to posting natively. When ideating content, I take trend research, unique brand voice assessment, client requests, and SOW into account to create bespoke and impactful strategies. And then I get to help them come to life! My screen time is out of control, so there's a lot of "media listening time" that goes into my trend reporting. I advise the client by providing current recommendations on adapting to new social media best practices, as well as new tools and platform updates. I lead weekly content review meetings, which include scheduling, outreach updates, and progress highlights. I've greatly grown my client-facing skills, and am passionate about building genuine client relationships.
Everything from political events to brand sentiment to platform aesthetics can impact data. In completing weekly and monthly analyses of engagement data, I consider as much of it as possible. Creating client-facing analytics decks requires relevant social research, and presenting that data involves providing context for the numbers.
Running Interstate Batteries’ new influencer campaign has had several stages, and I've spearheaded the project since the beginning. The program aimed to partner with several lifestyle influencers and invite them to share how they use Interstate in their adventurous lives. Kicking off the long-term project involved negotiating compensation, building creative trust with influencers, and coordinating social calendars. Balancing seasonal content, the launch of Interstate lithium batteries, and relevant NASCAR sponsor posts with regular influencer content was a welcome calendaring challenge. I facilitated communication throughout the project, navigating draft changes with influencers and coordinating with the client for approval. I showcased my flexibility and attention to detail, entrusted by our team to spearhead this new program.
A large part of my role in cultivating communities involves supervising, moderating, and cultivating conversations on brand accounts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Threads, YouTube Shorts, and BlueSky. I craft witty and concise comments on new posts, positioning the brand right in the audience's view as they scroll the comments. Targeted outreaches positively impact brand awareness and relevance, humanizing a brand and making it more accessible to an audience. At my core, I'm a writer. I love captioning and proofing written content for Interstate Batteries. With a unique and fresh brand voice, composing text posts and doing cross-platform comment outreach is such a fun way to express my creativity and attention to what's trending.
The social world is ever-changing. A trend dies overnight. I often work on weekends and holidays, to monitor accounts and complete relevant outreach. I stayed organized (and wrote everything down!) to ensure punctual turnaround times on all tasks, including last-minute overnight client requests.
